Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Login Dialog, App Details, and Trip Reports features provided by our app ("App") which utilizes Supabase for user authentication and Posthog for analytics. By using the Login Dialog, accessing the App Details, or contributing to Trip Reports, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Login Dialog

The Login Dialog allows you to conveniently sign in to our App using your existing Facebook account. When you choose to log in with Facebook, the following information may be shared with our App:

• Public Profile Information (e.g., name, profile picture)
• Email Address (if you have made it public on Facebook)

2. App Details

The App Details provide information about our App to Facebook for approval purposes. These details may include:

• App Name and Description
• Contact Information (e.g., email address)
• Privacy Policy URL
• Terms of Service URL (this document)

3. Data Usage

We will only use the information obtained through the Login Dialog for the following purposes:

• Authenticate your identity and grant access to the App.
• Personalize your experience within the App (if applicable).
• Fulfill the functionalities of the App.

We will not share your information with any third party except for Supabase, which is used for user authentication purposes, and Posthog, which is used for analytics purposes.

4. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide through the Login Dialog. However, no internet transmission is ever completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your information.

5. Your Choices

You can control how Facebook shares your information with our App by adjusting your privacy settings within Facebook. You may also revoke our App's access to your information at any time through your Facebook account settings.

6. Map Conditions and Navigation

Map conditions and navigation data provided by the App, including those used with Felt.com, are for informational purposes only. We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of map data. Use of navigation features should be supplemented with personal judgment and alternative navigation tools.

7. Trip Reports Photos & Submissions

Users can choose to add content to their Trip Reports, such as photos, text, or images. By submitting content, you agree that your contribution will not:

• contain pornographic, discriminatory, offensive, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable or unlawful material;
• be false or misleading;
• contain commercial messages (i.e., it is not permitted to place advertisements);
• contain any computer viruses or other malware that could in any way affect the operation of the App or any related website or service of the Company;
• violate any right of the Company or a third party, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or any other personal or (intellectual) property right; or
• be in any other manner unlawful against the Company or any third party.

Users are solely responsible for the contributions they make and their accuracy. The Company is not responsible nor liable for any contributions made by Users in any way. The Company reserves the right to edit or remove content that, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise inadmissible.

Users can also add locations to their Trip Reports using GPS or EXIF data from uploaded photos. By doing so, you consent to the collection and use of this data for enhancing the App's features and personalizing your experience.

8. Termination

We may terminate your access to the App or revoke your ability to use the Login Dialog if you violate these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Michigan.
